White & Case legal firm’s office hosted the signing ceremonies of agreements between Uzbekistan and the United States companies Tuesday:

-   Uzbekenergo and General Electric Gas Power Services signed an agreement for installation of power generating equipment for combined-cycle plant at Tashkent Thermal Power Plant;

-   UzbekNeftegaz and General Electric signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation for financing the project on equipment, modernization and development of Uzbekistan's gas transportation grid;

-   UzbekNeftegaz and General Electric signed an agreement on cooperation to study the possibility of setting up of a service center for turbo- machinery equipment in Uzbekistan;

-   Uzbekneftegaz and General Electric signed an agreement on cooperation to conduct a joint technical audit of gas compressor and gas turbine equipment of UzNeftegazQazibChiqarish (UzbekNeftegaz subsidiary for extraction);

-   Jizzakh Petroleum and Honeywell UOP, signed an agreement to implement the Construction of the Jizzakh refinery construction project (as technology licensor);

-   Uzbekneftegaz and ExxonMobil signed a memorandum of intent on cooperation in launching of production of base oils at Fergana refinery (as licensor and equipment supplier);

-   Dori Darmon JSC (state-run pharmaceutical company) and United Investment Healthcare Group LLC signed a memorandum of understanding;

-   Uzbekneftegaz and Honeywell UOP signed a memorandum of understanding on launching of production of olefins from methanol on MTO (methanol-to-olefins) technology, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the framework of the project for modernization of gas processing processes using Separex technology from UOP and a memorandum of understanding on cooperation on SCADA systems;

-   VМV Trade LLC and Silverleafe Capital signed an agreement on establishment of an agro-cluster in Jizzakh province;

-   Uz-American Trade trade house and Golden Natural Group signed contracts for supply of Uzbek dried fruits and vegetables and textiles to the United States;

-   Uzbekenergo and SkyPower Global signed a protocol on commencing the Construction of Solar Power Plants in Uzbekistan project;

-   Uzbek Ministry of Justice and Baker & McKenzie signed an agreement on cooperation and exchange of experience in the legal sphere and training of personnel.
