Thirty-seven people in Uchkuprik district, Fergana province, sought medical care on Sept. 17-18 after eating hot dogs and burgers at a fast-food outlet. They complained of weakness, nausea and diarrhea.
Thirty-one of them were hospitalized, the Food Safety Committee said.
An epidemiological investigation is under way, and the outlet has been temporarily closed. Specialists have taken food samples for laboratory analysis.
