Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov, today in Beijing met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, Wang Yi, the Uzbek foreign ministry said.
The counterparts reportedly discussed key issues of bilateral ties, the implementation progress of the agreements reached during the state visit of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to China on May 11-13, 2017 and talks with the Chinese leadership.
The two ministers paid special attention to the agenda of the upcoming Peace Process, Security and Regional Cooperation conference on Afghanistan to be held in Tashkent on the joint initiative of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.
The counterparts also considered other issues of mutual interest.
