The president Mirziyoyev signed decree on March 19 setting up a new system for using vacant state-owned real estate to support business, which will take effect from July 1, 2025.
Based on the recommendations of project offices, empty state-owned facilities with an area of up to 10 thousand sqm. will be transferred for free use for a period of 5 years to entrepreneurs engaged in the manufacturing of high-tech products.
In addition, in 15 cities and districts, all local government bodies and state bodies will be located in one multi-story building in the centers of districts. The exception is law enforcement bodies, utilities and medical institutions.
The building will be constructed according to a standardized design developed by the Ministry of Construction. The first and second floors of these buildings will be sold to entrepreneurs.
Approximately 150 vacated buildings will be put up for online auctions for business projects.
We are talking about Kungrad, Chimbay, Asaka, Gijduvan, Gallaaral, Yakkabag, Khatyrchi, Chartak, Bulungur, Syrdarya, Denau, Kuva, Shavat districts and the cities of Yangiyul and Margilan. This list can be amended by the Cabinet of Ministers MoM based on the proposal of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev called this a "new system" of supporting entrepreneurs in their development and expansion of activities, for which land and buildings are needed.
