Two vehicles collided on the Beineu-Tazhen highway in Kazakhstan today, in which 10 people were injured, six of them died, Lada.kz publication reported, citing sources in the police department and the health department of the Mangistau region.
At 7:30 a.m., a Jac minivan crashed into a MAN truck, which was parked on the side of road, waiting in line to cross the border.
n total, there were 10 people in the car. Of these, four were hospitalized in the Beineu Central District Hospital. The condition of the injured is moderate.
Reportedly, both vehicles involved in the accident are registered in Uzbekistan.
The victims and the deceased are Uzbekistan nationals who were returning from the Russian Federation.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into this incident. The incident was reported to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Aktau, the publication underscored.
