According to Dunyo, during the state visit of the President of the Korea Republic to Uzbekistan, a contract was signed between Uzbekistan Railways and South Korea's Hyundai Rotem on the supply and maintenance of six 250 km/h trains.
Reportedly, the high-speed train intended for Uzbekistan is similar to the KTX-Eum train, which, in turn, was created on the basis of the HEMU-430X high-speed train designed for movement at a speed of 430 km/h. The seven-car train will have 389 seats each and will include VIP, business and economy classes, as well as a dining car.
The high-speed train will be named Jalaluddin Manguberdi.
