Most of Uzbekistan will see dry, largely clear weather throughout the business week, Uzhydromet said. Only the northwestern provinces may experience brief rain with thunderstorms on August 17-19.
Daytime temperatures will range from 33 to 38 degrees Celsius across most provinces, reaching 40 to 43 degrees in parts of the south. Nighttime temperatures will range from 18 to 23 degrees.
Winds of 7-12 meters per second are expected, with gusts up to 13-18 m/s in some areas, accompanied by low-level dust in isolated provinces. In the north, wind gusts could reach 22-25 m/s on August 21.
Tashkent city will see mostly clear skies with no precipitation. Daytime temperatures will climb to 35 degrees on Monday. For the remainder of the working week, nighttime temperatures will range from 20 to 23 degrees, with daytime highs of 35-38 degrees.
Winds in the capital will blow from the east at 3-8 m/s, occasionally strengthening to 10-14 m/s, with localized dust in parts of the city.
