There are few plants in the world that manufacture, repair and export rail cars. In particular, the JSC Tashkent Railway Construction and Repair Plant (TRCRP), part of Uzbekistan Railways, has begun exporting its products.

The Tashkent-based plant, the only one of its kind in Central Asia, has achieved remarkable results. In particular, the company has mastered the repair of subway cars and manufacture of new rail cars. From this year, the company  is starting to export its products.

In 2016, Russia and Kazakhstan rail companies expressed interest in 61-911, 61-907 model sitting (economy class) and coupe cars manufactured in Uzbekistan. This year, the TRCRP started production of new customer tailored cars. Until the end of the year, orders for 5 sitting and 5 coupe cars have been received, with world-class certificate issued in June this year.

These cars have a number of additional passengers conveniences, in particular, modern water and air purification equipment, lighting system, up-to-date heating and cooling systems, with particular focus put on passengers safety.
