Olmaliq-based AGMK won Uzbekistan Cup at Istiqlol Stadium in Fergana Sunday, defeating Pakhtakor, 3-1. Yovan Jokic of AGMK opened the score on 16th minute to the game through a penalty kick. On the 54th minute, Ismael Goncalves equalized the score. However, after only three minutes AGMK took the lead again through Jovan Jokic’s sublime shot.
In the 90th minute, Zohir Primov's goal sealed AGMK’s victory and handed AGMK the first Uzbekistan Cup trophy. AGMK will now play agains Al-Nasr of Saudi Arabia in a play-off to qualify for the next season’s Asian Champions League group stage.
