It was reported that the Fergana-based Neftchi football club has reportedly completed its obligations to FIFA, and FIFA will soon lift the transfer ban on the club. One of the former Neftchi players, who read this news, contacted Championat.Asia website and cried his heart out:

"Our clubs are always the first to pay off the debts of foreign players. Because FIFA only protects them. Local players, on the other hand, get paid only when the owners recover from financial troubles. Is FIFA take Uzbek players for human beings at all? Don't they have families and children? We play for this team all year round, but we don't get paid. The thing is that this happens almost every year in a club or another. Ask the local players who played for Neftchi in 2024 when they last received a salary? Those who are still playing for the club don't even know who to tell about their problems. Because there is a risk of retaliation," said one of the former Neftchi players, who asked to remain anonymous.
