President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on May 11, 2017 signed the Construction of Tashkent Multifunctional Ice Rink Complex in Tashkent Decree, launching the construction of a multi-purpose Khumo Arena ice complex in Tashkent in 2017-2018.
The ice rink will be built in Tashkent's Chilanzar district at the intersection of Afrosiyob and Beshyogoch streets and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2018.
The project‘s customer is Wind Rose LLC. The construction will be funded by customer's own sources and other funds.
The general contractor is Enter Engineering Pte. Ltd., a Singaporean company and will be designed by South Korean Heerim Architects & Planners Co. Ltd.., anf will both benefit a number of tax and customs privileges.
