On December 24, the Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev will pay a working visit to Uzbekistan. President Atambayev during his visit will discuss with his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev all pressing issues, the head of the Foreign policy department under the President's Office, Sapar Isakov announced at a press conference.
According to him, the two leaders will hold meetings in the narrow and expanded formats, as there are a lot of issues on the agenda. "It is worth noting that the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s meeting with Almazbek Atambayev is the first meeting of the new president with the head of a foreign state" - Isakov added.
He also noted that during the visit Atambayev will visit the grave of Islam Karimov.
