President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a Decree "On regular draft of citizens of Uzbekistan for military service and release of soldiers who delivered the mandatory service to the Armed Forces reserve."
Pursuant to the Decree, in February-March 2017 the citizens of Uzbekistan of military age, that are not eligible for deferment of draft, will be drafted to military service.
The citizens, fit to bear military service, not eligible for deferment and exemption of draft, but who are not being drafted to the armed forces this year shall be assigned to the mobilization draft reserve.
Also, in accordance with this Decree, in February-April 2017 the military who have served the service will be released to the reserve of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
