The head of Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva met with Wang Yi — China's Foreign Minister, Member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China's Central Committee, and Director of the Office of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission. The meeting took place in a warm and open atmosphere, the statement on Saida Mirziyoyeva's social media platforms said.
"The strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China is entering a new phase and opening fresh horizons, which made it all the more important to review progress across a range of key areas — from trade, economic cooperation and investment to cultural exchange."
The parties placed particular attention on aligning positions on global issues. "I thank Mr. Wang Yi for a candid and substantive conversation," the post concluded.
