An electric vehicle caught fire in Tashkent on August 26. The capital's Fire and Rescue Service received a report at 2:45 p.m. that a Zeekr 001 electric vehicle was on fire near a building at 4 Qorasuv Street in the Yashnobod district.
Firefighting crews reached the scene promptly, and the blaze was extinguished by 3:07 p.m.
"There were no injuries as a result of the fire," the agency said in its statement.
This is not the first such incident: in April 2025, a Zeekr 001 caught fire while parked at a charging station in downtown Tashkent.
