According to the National Statistics Agency, nearly 3.51 million (3,512,000) Uzbek citizens traveled abroad for tourism purposes during the first half of this year. This figure represents an increase of 2,500 travelers compared to the same period last year.
The report details that between January and June 2026, Uzbek nationals traveled most frequently to the following destinations:
- Kyrgyzstan: 1,547,589 travelers
- Kazakhstan: 667,722 travelers
- Tajikistan: 619,515 travelers
- Russia: 183,759 travelers
- Saudi Arabia: 153,591 travelers
- Turkey: 127,241 travelers
- United Arab Emirates: 41,780 travelers
- China: 36,502 travelers
- Egypt: 25,905 travelers
- Vietnam: 23,409 travelers
The statistics clearly indicate that neighboring countries dominate outbound tourism for Uzbek citizens. Travels to Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan accounted for the vast majority of all tourist trips abroad. Additionally, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey remain highly popular destinations among Uzbek travelers.
