Three flights from Uzbekistan were unable to land in Moscow due to Carpet plan (response action) amid Ukraine's massive drone attack on the Russian capital today, the Tashkent Sky News Telegram channel said.

According to SHOT, the drone attack began at about 04:30. More than 60 UAVs approached Moscow and its suburbs at night, and several residential buildings were damaged. According to preliminary data, one person was killed and three more were injured.

Due to the response plan over the Moscow's Vnukovo Airport and its closure, three flights from Uzbekistan were unable to land in Moscow:

  • HY-9615 Urgench to Moscow flight was diverted to an airport in St. Petersburg;
  • HY-611 Tashkent to Moscow flight was diverted to an airport in St. Petersburg;
  • UT-808 Bukhara to Moscow flight was also diverted to an airport in Samara.
