3 Uzbek nationals died and 3 others were hospitalized with various injuries in a car accident in the Perm region of Russia on the morning of February 22, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan reported.
The car accident occurred on the Osa-Chernushka highway in Osa district, involving a Lada Largus with Uzbek license plates and a SIMAZ bus. Two of the passengers died at the scene, and the third died in the hospital.
Three more Uzbeks were hospitalized with varying degrees of injuries in the Osa Central Hospital of the Perm region and are currently receiving medical treatment.
Reportedly, the situation is under the control of the Consulate General, and the corpses of the deceased have been swiftly repatriated, and the injured are receiving medical treatment.
According to the press service of the Perm region traffic police, the Lada Largus failed to let a bus on the main road pass while exiting a secondary road.
