A video footage of a robbery at a pharmacy circulated across social networks. The footage shows a man threatening the pharmacy worker with a knife and takes money from the cash desk.
The Zor-TV news program reported that the incident occurred on January 13 at about 23:05 in Chirchik city. The man broke into the pharmacy with a knife, threatening the seller and demanded the cash. Under threat of a weapon, he took 700 thousand soums, or 55 USD, from the cash desk and fled the scene.
The man was swiftly detained, the investigation found that the man, 32, was from local naighbourhood, and was drunk during robbery, the Tashkent province police department said.
A criminal case has been opened against the man under Robbery using weapon chrarge.
