Uzbek Ambassador, Ravshan Usmanov met with , Vice-Chancellor for International Cooperation at the University of Essex, Vanessa Potter, the Dunyo news agency said.
The parties discussed graduate education, scientific research, including bilateral degree programs, teacher and student exchanges, and the opening of a branch of University of Essex in Uzbekistan.
Vanessa Potter highly reportedly commended the reforms being implemented in the Uzbekistan higher education and the conditions for young people to get quality education. "We look forward to introducing British educational standards in Uzbekistan. Currently, the opening of a branch of the Essex University in Uzbekistan is an important issue on the agenda," she said.
