Reports surfaced on social media that newlyweds in the Pskent district of Tashkent province died of carbon monoxide poisoning the day after their wedding.
The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office said that on December 15, a man, 29, and a woman, 27, who lived together died in Birlik neighbourhood of Pskent district.
A forensic medical examination was ordered as part of the pre-investigation probe. According to its preliminary conclusion, the cause of death was intoxication with an unknown substance.
