Uzbekistan's permanent mission to the UN organized a presentation of Uzbekistan's strategy for the development of AI until 2030 at the UN headquarters in New York.
The event, organized jointly with the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism and the International Criminal Police Organization, was attended by the UN leadership, various experts, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in New York.
The attendees were briefed about plans to increase the volume of AI products and services in Uzbekistan to $ 1.5 billion, set up 10 AI laboratories operating in the field of artificial intelligence, and strengthen the regulatory and legal framework for the development of relevant technologies.
At the end of the event, an agreement was reached to further develop cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UN in this area.
