The International Scientific and Combat Training Competition was held for the second time in the city of Inje, Gangwon Province, Republic of Korea. More than 500 servicemen from South Korea, the United States, Australia, Cambodia and Uzbekistan took part in it. Another nine teams were observers.
The team of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan took part in the competition for the second time and, having shown a high result, became the winner, the press service of the ministry reported. Last year, Uzbekistan was also the winner of the competition.
The teams participated in the competition by drawing lots. Each team had to develop an operational plan and fulfill obligations under the national agreement, demonstrating the skills and experience necessary for joint actions of units.
The teams were assessed based on the completeness of the tasks, the level of "survival", compliance with the rules of warfare and analysis of the correspondence of combat operations to the tactical situation.
The first team of South Korea took second place, the third - the team of the USA and the second team of South Korea.
