On October 24, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree canceling the hand-over of the Uzbekistan Railways’ stake (45%) in UzbekKo’mir (Uzbek Coal) for the trust management to Russian company Progress Gor Tech. This was stipulated by the presidential March decree on increasing the management efficiency of UzbekKo’mir JSC.
The company name "Progress Gore Tech" in the document has been replaced by the words "trustee", and the "Road Map" to improve the performance of " UzbekKo’mir" within the trust management has been deleted from the Dceree.
According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities of Russia, Progressgortech LLC (the spelling is exactly that) was registered in Moscow last October with an authorized capital of 10 thousand rubles. The General Director of the company is Vadim Mikhailovich Falko, the founder is Nikolai Gennadevich Emelyanov. The main activity is "Activities of holding companies."
UzbekKo’mir (together with Shargunkomir) by the presidential decree of July 2017 was merged into Uzbekistan Railways. In November of that year, it was transformed into a unitary enterprise.
