Uzbekistan exported US$ 3.98 billion worth gold in January-September this year. the State Statistics Committee said in a report.
While, the share of gold in total exports was at 29.1%, which is almost by 2.6 times higher than last year.
Gold were followed by services (18.6% - US$ 2.54 billion), energy and oil products (16.1% - US$ 2.20 billion).
US$ 1.17 billion worth of textile was exported in this period, food items - US$ 1.14 billion, non-ferrous metals - US$ 706.6 million and chemical products - US$ 675.2 million.
