In the first quarter of 2026, Uzbekistan's electricity generation saw a 7% uptick compared to the same period last year, the Ministry of Energy said in a statement.
During this reporting window, the nation’s total output reached 23.317 billion kWh—a substantial increase of 1.471 billion kWh over the previous year. Of this total, 20.163 billion kWh was delivered to consumers, marking a 1% rise (262 million kWh) compared to the first quarter of 2025.
