Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov met with Aynol Azmil bin Abu Bakar, Vice President of Proton Holdings, the national automobile company of Malaysia Monday.
The parties reportedly explored the ways to expand partnership and to launch joint projects.
They also considered areas of cooperation in the automotive industry in Uzbekistan. In particular,
- increasing the level of localization and expanding the share of local value;
- establishing the production of components necessary for the industry;
- developing personnel training, service and distribution networks;
- proposals for creating new jobs through regional cooperation were discussed.
