As reported earlier, the 4th edition of the International Specialized Exhibition AGROPRO EXPO 2025, organized by SOF EXPO, kicked off at the modern SOF EXPO SAMARKAND exhibition center located in Samarkand’s Dzhambay district on February 25 to last through February 27.
In his opening remarks, the acting governor of the Samarkand province Adiz Boboev underscored: – This has been the fourth edition of in AGROPRO EXPO 2025 exhibition ahead of the new agricultural season na dit has now become a landmark event. As we can see it features local large clusters and farms, various agricultural machineries, and new technologies. There are stands of more than 90 domestic enterprises, as well as foreign companies from Turkey, Iran, China, Russia, and the Netherlands. Among them are 17 manufacturers of agricultural machineries, 14 of agrochemical products, 11 of irrigation systems, 8 of veterinary drugs, 5 of poultry products, etc. During the three days, the AGROPRO EXPO will host panel sessions to discuss current industry issues, exchange experiences, ink contracts and agreements, and find new clients and partners. I hope that this exhibition will contribute to the further development of agriculture in Uzbekistan.
Welcoming speeches were also given by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture Akmaljon Qosimov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus Alexander Ogorodnikov, the Chairman of the Association of Exporters Yorqin Malikov.
The Samarkand province governor’s office provided a great deal of assistance, using its broad customer base and helping to attract farmers. Three drone companies were present at the open area. Agricultural machinery manufacturers who did not participate last year are also present this year. Businesses and farmers from provinces are getting to know that the exhibition is a must, providing them sales, networking and outreach opportunities.
This Exhibitions showrooms and sites was mainly occupied by companies and farms from various provinces - those who are directly involved in the production of agricultural products, developing the domestic agricultural industry. Over 120 units of machineries filled the open area of the exhibition complex, featuring a wide range of mini-equipment for farmers-gardeners and those with small land plots is of great interest. Cultivators, sprayers, drip irrigation equipment, mini tractors - equipment for any type of agricultural work. Fish and poultry farms also presented their own products here, and livestock breeders presented breeding cattle.
A business forum, discussions and presentations with experts, demonstrations of advanced agricultural machinery and technologies, seminars and master classes for farmers are held. The topics of automation of agricultural processes, sustainable farming, digital technologies and robotics in the agricultural sector are being discussed. An annual award has been established within its framework. The awards in five categories have been determined.
