Acting Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, Shahrukh Ghulomov met with the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Busadi Santipitaks.
According to the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, the Thai delegation included executives from major Thai companies.
The two-way trade between the two countries growing by 170 percent in the first half of this year, with the parties noting the importance of taking measures to increase the number of joint investment projects and increase the volume of trade to 500 million US dollars in the near future.
At the end of the meeting, the parties reached agreements on the development of a plan of joint measures for the development of trade-economic and investment cooperation, including the implementation of joint projects in the fields of agriculture, tourism, food industry, textile and electrical engineering products.
