The concert program includes works by Shostakovich, Williams, Caccini and Boyarskaya. The concert honoring the International Holocaust Remembrance Day is organized by the Embassies of Israel and Germany, and the Delegation of the European Union in Uzbekistan.

According to the press service of the German Embassy, ​​the concert featuring the Youth Symphonic Orchestra of Uzbekistan led by Kamoliddin Urinbaev will take place in the State Conservatory on January 27.

The concert will feature Kim Kieng (soprano), Kiril Borchaninov (bass), chorus of the musical theater-studio under the State Conservatory and Professor Vladimir Neymer.

"In the beginning of World War II, tens of thousands of Jews fleeing the Holocaust, as well as, hundreds of thousands of refugees and evacuees fleeing the destruction and extermination in Europe found their new home in Uzbekistan. The people of Uzbekistan opened their doors and sheltered the refugees, sharing with them their modest piece of bread. This will never be forgotten", - it says in the press release of the organizers.

The concert starts at 18:30. Admission is on invitation.
