President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in early April, will make a state visit to Russia. This was reported in the framework of the 18th session of the Intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia, held on Wednesday in Tashkent.

Construction works of Urgench to Khiva rail road commenced on February 10, the website of the province governor’s office said. The project is being implemented pursuant to the President Shavkat Mirziyoev’s instruction during his visit to the province on 27-28 January.

President of Uzbekistan approved the feasibility study (FS) of the investment project "Construction of a new terminal at Tashkent international airport (Tashkent-4)."
