The president's elder daughter Saida Mirziyoyeva by a Presidential order was appointed the chief of the sector for communications and information policies of the Executive Office of the Presidential Administration, the president’s spokesman Sherzod Asadov said.
According to him, this newly formed sector is part of the structure of the deputy chief of the administration, Komil Allamjonov, who is in charge of studying public opinion and information policies.
Saida Mirziyoyeva will also monitor the implementation of reforms in the social sphere, in the field of culture and education.
A graduate of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Master of Tashkent State University of Law and Lomonosov Moscow State University, Ph.D. in Economics Saida Mirziyoeva in 2019-2020 served as Deputy Director of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Presidential Administration, and from 2022 until today's appointment - Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for the Support and Development of National Mass Media.
