ROSGEO Holding has discovered oil and gas bearing formations in Uzbekistan following the geological exploration, and will continue to study them in 2023, announced the head of the holding Sergey Gorkov, TASS reported.
“Yes, we have results. We found oil and gas reservoirs. Next year we will continue the detailed study,” he said.
“There is a deposit, but we will understand what sizes and so on after the stage next year,” he added.
According to him, the current stage of exploration in Uzbekistan will be completed in 2023. In addition, the holding is negotiating the continuation of work in April - October next year.
“As for Uzbekistan, no one did exploration in the Aral Sea there in the Soviet period. We made them. And the main thing is that there is a result that is quite successful,” he concluded.
