The President of Uzbekistan received the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov. Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted the importance of tapping the potential of cooperation with St. Petersburg.
The parties reviewed the ways to further expand cooperation at the level of provinces of the two countries and focused on the creation of a modern trade, commercial and logistics infrastructure to increase mutual trade, support and promotion of industrial cooperation projects of leading enterprises, deepening cooperation in the field of housing and communal services and urban planning.
The sides supported the continuation of active cultural and humanitarian exchanges and reached an agreement on the preparation and adoption of a Roadmap for mutually beneficial cooperation between the provinces of Uzbekistan and St. Petersburg.
