The official website of the Senate was hacked today and has been inaccessible for some time. The site displayed the messages: Salute to Cyber Security Center and Your System Has Been Hacked.
The official Telegram channel of the Senate reported that the functioning of the site was disrupted due to a hacker attack, and that steps were being taken to restore the site.
“It is true that our site was indeed hacked. Our IT department is currently working to resolve the problem. Steps are being taken to restore the site. It is not yet known how much information on the site was compromised as a result of a hacker attack. Looks like the site is merely blocked.
“We were actuall going to update the website of the Senate. A new interpretation of the site has been prepared. After a cyber attack, IT specialists temporarily closed the site in test mode. The information here is quite old and has not been updated. A new interpretation of the site will be launched soon, and it will have an almost similar look. The data size on the old site is about 20 gigabytes. They need to be transferred to a new platform,” says the spokesman of the Speaker of the Senate Khodjiakbar Tulaganov.
