On October 28, Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov hosted the SG of Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Baghdad Amreev. The parties discussed the current state and prospects of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and the OTS and commended the positive trend in in the ties between Uzbekistan and the OTS in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian area.
The sides also exchanged views on the results of important events held in our country, such as the 4th meeting of ministers responsible for ICT (October 25-26, 2022, Samarkand) and the meeting of UTC transport ministers (October 27-28, 2022, Tashkent).
The schedule of upcoming meetings in Uzbekistan, held jointly with the UTC, was considered, including a meeting of ministers of economy (November 9, 2022, Samarkand) and a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (November 10, 2022, Samarkand).
The parties also focused on the preparation and holding of the OTS Summit, which will be held on November 11 this year in Samarkand and discussed certain topics on the international and regional agenda.
