According to the relevant presidential decree, flights will be restored at Shakhrisabz and Sariasiya airports, as well as flights to Zaamin will be launched. While, it is planned to boost the tourism potential of Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya and Jizzakh provinces.
Reportedly, in order to connect the provinces with each other, starting from March 2023, regular flights will be launched on Samarkand-Nukus, Samarkand-Muynak, Samarkand-Termez, Bukhara-Termez, Namangan-Termez and Namangan-Nukus routes.
Airline schedules will be connected with passenger-friendly rail, bus and minibus routes, and steps will be taken to create a unified logistics system.
Also, until January 1, 2026, the timeline for granting subsidies from the central budget to resident-airlines of Uzbekistan of 25% of the cost of an air ticket for flights on domestic tourism routes has been extended.
