On October 27, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Astana to attend the maiden Central Asia-European Union summit.
According to the presidential press service, President of the European Council Charles Michel and leaders of the CA countries will attend the event.
The parties will reportedly discuss the ways to advance political dialogue, expansion of interregional cooperation, stepping up of trade and economic cooperation and cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
In the evening of the same day, the President of the European Council Charles Michel is expected to visit Uzbekistan.
Uzbek-European talks will be held at the highest level on October 28, with a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation and multilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union to be considered.
The distinguished guest will also visit Samarkand during his stay in the country.
