Explosion occurred on October 22, at 4:55 a.m. at the warehouse of the Ministry of Defense in Malik village of Syrdarya province, the Ministry of Defense said.
The incident is currently being investigated. Information about the victims is being specified.
Earlier, photos and videos appeared on social networks, showing a bright flash, and after a few seconds, a strong sound and a shock wave. Local residents reported that they felt something similar to an earthquake. Trees swayed on the street, windows and doors opened, windows in many houses and shops were broken, some structures were destroyed.
