The Consulate General of Uzbekistan held an online presentation on Uzbekistan’s tourism potential for representatives of the Russian Krasnoyarsk region, Tyva and Khakassia tour companies, Dunyo reported.
During the presentation, the hosts drew attention to the facilities created at the Amirsoy ski resort in Bostonliq district of Tashkent province.
O. Vosilenko, head of the tourism agency of the Krasnoyarsk region, said in his speech that the interest of Russian tourists for Uzbekistan has increased significantly. As he noted, increasing the number of direct flights from the territory of the Siberian Federal District will serve to further increase the flow of tourists.
At the end of the presentation, it was agreed to establish cooperation relations with tour companies operating in the regions of Russia, to attract tourists from Russia to Uzbekistan in an organized manner in the future.
