Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia are discussing signing a draft air service agreement. Meeting was held with the members of the delegation led by the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Affairs Tawfiq bin Fawzan al-Rabiyah at the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.

During the talks, the parties explored the ways to advance cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan in the field of transport, especially air transport, increasing the number of regular flights between the two countries, and promoting bilateral tourism.

At the meeting, in order to effectively implement the agreements reached and enhance cooperation between the countries, Saudi Arabian airlines were called upon to launch regular flights to historical cities - Samarkand, Bukhara and Urganch within the framework of the Pilgrimage Tourism program.
