Acting Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, Foreign Trade and Federal Cultural Institutions of Belgium, Haja Lahbib, as part of the visit to Brussels.
The parties welcomed the successful results of the Belgian business mission to Uzbekistan organized by the Walloon Export and Foreign Investment Agency and the Flemish Investment and Trade Agency in November 2021, while noting the existing the untapped potential in the field of trade and investments.
The sides noted that Uzbekistan and Belgium were ready to advance relations in all areas. At the end of this year, they agreed to hold the next round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries in Tashkent.
