Today, at about 14:30, one of the methane cylinders exploded in an Isuzu bus at the exit from a gas filling station in Akaltyn district of Syrdarya province, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
According to provisional information, 6 people were killed and 15 people were injured in the incident. The bus belongs to a driving school in the Bagat district of Khorezm province.
A working group led by the leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene. Present were the heads of the provincial and district Emergency Situation departments, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health and the prosecutor's office. A preliminary investigation has begun.
