Prime Minister of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov said that he was currently in Uzbekistan. According to him, in Uzbekistan one can not only relax, but also work.
“In Uzbekistan, one can not only relax, but also work. There are enough issues for negotiations - an increase in flights between our cities, investments, trade turnover,” he said in his Telegram page.
On May 18, the head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, who was on a visit to Uzbekistan, met with Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov.
In Bashkortostan there are 56 Uzbek-invested enterprises, in the trade and catering, construction and utilities, real estate transactions, legal services, food production, furniture, paper products, industrial equipment, metal products, textiles, woodworking and transport.
In the 2021/2022 academic year, about 900 students from Uzbekistan were studying at the Bashkiri universities.
In 2021, the volume of the two-way trade between Uzbekistan and Bashkortostan topped $113.3 million.
Bashkortostan is a federal subject of the Russian federation located between the Volga and the Ural Mountains in Eastern Europe.
