The meeting of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev with business leaders in the format of an open dialogue will take place not on August 20, but on Monday, August 22. This was announced at a briefing on Monday by the president’s spokesman Sherzod Asadov.
This will be the second meeting of its kind. The first took place on August 20 last year. Then this date was declared the Entrepreneurs Day in the country. The President announced that he would hold such meetings every year.
During the dialogue, it is expected to discuss problems that businesses are facing. Letters were accepted until the end of July. As Sherzod Asadov noted, almost 8,500 letters were received in total. Of these, 72% have already found a positive solution.
Last year, more than 15,000 questions and proposals were collected in preparation for the dialogue. They were systematized in seven areas, after which a number of presidential decisions were adopted on the identified problems.
