On August 8, the special representative of the President of Uzbekistan on foreign policy issues, Abdulaziz Kamilov, called the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan. This was reported by the Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed bilateral ties and ways to develop them in all areas. The latest regional and international developments and issues of common interest were also discussed.
The SCO summit will be held in Samarkand in September, it is expected to sign a memorandum on granting Saudi Arabia the status of dialogue partner in the SCO. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman may also attend this summit.
