On August 9, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with a presentation on the development and diversification of international transport corridors, the presidential press service said.
Reportedly, the products of the country are being transported abroad mainly through 9 transport corridors. The presentation showcased current issues related to each transport corridor and proposals for their solution.

The Ministry of Transport was tasked with offering the most suitable routes for entrepreneurs and reducing their transport costs.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the importance of obtaining additional permits for the transportation of export products to Europe and made a proposal to establish joint transport companies with Pakistan and Turkmenistan for the transportation of goods by car.
Instructions were given to expedite the reconstruction of the Kungirot-Beynov international highway, to fully tap the freight wagon production capacities.
