On August 8, the President Mirziyoyev chaired a government meeting on expanding cooperation with the countries of Central Asia, the presidential press service said.

Reportedly, partnership with the states of Central Asia is developing dynamically. Over the past five years, the volume of Uzbekistan's trade with them has increased by 2.5 times and surpassed $6 billion. In our country, 1.7 thousand Central Asian countries-invested enterprises were opened.

The meeting discussed new projects and proposals for expanding economic cooperation with the countries of Central Asia.

In addition, the issue of developing and maintaining a national rating of investment attractiveness of regions was considered in order to further develop SMEs in the country.

The head of state gave specific instructions on the issues discussed at the meeting.
