President Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the heads of delegations of the SCO member states attending the SCO Foreign Ministers Council meeting in Tashkent.
According to the President’s spokesman, Sherzod Asadov, the meeting was attended by Indian Foreign Minister Subramanyam Jaishankar, Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi, Chinese State Councilor, Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev, Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin, SCO General Secretary Zhang Min and Director of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Organization Executive Committee Ruslan Mirzaev event.
Reportedly, the parties discussed the priority tasks of multilateral cooperation and prospects for further development of the SCO at the meeting, focusing on the outcomes of joint work during Uzbekistan’s chairmanship and the agenda of the SCO Summit in Samarkand in September of this year.
