The Statistics Committee reported on Uzbekistan demographic figures. Reportedly, as of July 1, 2022, the population of the country stood at 35.6 million people, with 17.7 million females and 17.9 million males.
While, the number of urban residents topped 18.1 million people, and the rural residents at 17.5 million.
The number of births - 413,600 people YTD, the number of deaths - 80,900 people. The number of marriages - 108.9 thousand, the number of divorces - 24.6 thousand.
In terms of external migration, those who immigrated made up 0.9 thousand people, those who emigrated topped 1.4 thousand.
